Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development (DPD) is in the process of preparing a comprehensive plan to be accompanied by a comprehensive rezoning for the Depot Planning District.

Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning & Development hosted three community meetings (Sep-Oct) to obtain input regarding needs and concerns in your community. The Division thanks all who participated in the input process. Click below to view input obtained from meetings and survey forms

The Division hosted two more meetings on November 08th and 14th to present preliminary plan recommendations and rezoning recommendations based on established planning principles applied in light of your input as well as current conditions and trends determined from additional research. Feedback from the community is awaited before these recommendations are forwarded to the Land Use Control Board and then to City Council for public hearings. Please stay tuned to hear about these public hearings.
